Design and Development

I have spent the last several years working as a motion and graphic designer in the news industry. I found that I love the fast pace turns for news packages because it forces me to problem solve. Part of that problem solving has involved creating templates in Chyron and After Effects to speed up workflows. I feel one of my strengths is my ability to jump between creative and analytical roles.

As a graduate of Georgia Tech's Computational Media program I am certainly no one trick pony. In my program of study, we started by learning the fundamentals of both design and programming. We married both aspects, design and development, to create new media. I have experience programming C, C++, ColdFusion, Java, Lisp, PHP, SmallTalk, and more. I don't only focus on the ones and zeros though, I have been designing since high school and believe that if something is worth creating, it is worth making it look good. Some of the different types of media that I have been able to work with include 3D modeling, game engines, motion graphics, traditional print, video, and the web. I pride myself on being a mutlitool and being able to move from task to task wherever I am needed to get the job done.
